The Overmountain Press’ (OMP) former website was designed in-house using WordPress and an e-commerce plug-in. The result was a painfully slow website that did little more than frustrate its users and administrators alike. Beth from OMP contacted Stellar to have us investigate the site’s performance issues. After a quick look under the hood, we discovered a few faults within the plug-in. Once we issued our prognosis, Stellar Studios was hired to resuscitate the struggling site.

Alas, there was no saving their piecemeal production. Alternatively, we developed some custom code and put together a whole new site that runs like a dream. The new design incorporates an innovative cascading style sheet coupled with PHP that changes the site’s color scheme and theme to match the season.
